Eligibility Requirements:
Professionals who are of an ethnic minority origin and have a passion for community leadership.

Program Commitment:
If selected to participate in the program individuals are expected to commit to the completion of 42 hours of training. In addition, upon completion of this leadership development program, graduates will make a commitment to serve with a Center for Nonprofit Management member agency in a volunteer capacity for the elected or appointed term.

Application Process:
Candidates are required to submit the following to apply for the program:

  • Completed application – 2 pages with signature

  • One letter of recommendation from an employer OR an individual the applicant has worked with in a volunteer or civic capacity.
  • Résumé
  • Personal mission statement: (250 words or less)

Application Deadline: February 27, 2009

Once applications have been received, prospective candidates will be contacted for a mandatory interview.

Pricing:
If selected to participate in this program, there will be a course fee of $500 due by Orientation, payable by check or credit card.
