Eligibility Requirements:
Professionals who are of an ethnic minority origin and have a passion for community leadership. Emphasis given to African-American, Asian-American and Hispanic individuals.

Program Commitment:
If selected to participate in the program individuals are expected to commit to the completion of a minimum of 38 of the 42 hours of training. In addition, upon completion of this leadership development program, graduates will make a commitment to serve with a Center for Nonprofit Management member agency in a volunteer capacity for the elected or appointed term.

Application Process:
The 2008 Application Process is now closed.  Check back in January 2009 for information on applying for the 2009 class.

Candidates are required to submit the following to apply for the program:

  • Completed application – 2 pages with signature
  • One letter of recommendation from an employer OR an individual the applicant has worked with in a volunteer or civic capacity.
  • Résumé
  • Personal mission statement: (250 words or less)

Once applications have been received, prospective candidates will be contacted for a mandatory interview.

Pricing:
If selected to participate in this program, there will be a course fee of $500 due by Orientation, payable by check or credit card.
