Thanks to everyone who attended the 2008 event.  With more than 500 people in attendance, it was our largest Fair yet!

Save the date for the 2009 event:
Discover how your time and talent as a board member can benefit your community! The Get On Board! Fair is a unique opportunity to meet 100 area nonprofit organizations needing qualified board members and volunteers who possess special skills and who represent our diverse community. This is your chance to make a difference!

What is CBI?
  • 32nd annual leadership and board training conference for new and experienced nonprofit agency personnel, board members, and community volunteers
  • Morning Keynote: “It’s All Related: Collaborating for the Common Good” Oscar Joyner and Thomas Joyner, Jr.
  • Luncheon Keynote: “Doing What’s Right in the Pursuit of a Just and Safer Dallas County” Craig Watkins, District Attorney for Dallas County
  • 45 morning and afternoon break-out sessions covering 6 tracks:
    • Resources/Fund Development,
    • Leadership/Board Governance,
    • Financial Management,
    • Information Technology
    • Community Outreach and Marketing/PR, and
    • Volunteer Management.
Fee: $40 per person (before March 21)
  $60 per person (after March 21)
