America SCORES Dallas, is seeking an energetic, established, dynamic and qualified degreed professional with strong fundraising skills to lead our small but rapidly growing organization. We serve DISD elementary youth in the only after school program that uses a proven curriculum to harness the power of soccer, poetry and service learning to inspire literacy, physical health and character development among urban public school children. The Executive Director should possess passion and demonstrated effectiveness and success in strategic planning and implementation, provide leadership and motivation to board and staff, and build on existing donors and develop new relationships with larger potential donors. Candidate should have a minimum of five years demonstrated executive level leadership and experience in fundraising, including corporate partnerships and major gifts, excellent written and oral communication, special event planning, budget and financial management, day-to-day management, knowledge of Dallas and its diverse community, self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit, and excellent computer skills.
