- TXNP strengthens Texas communities by providing up-to-date data and
other resources and support via the Internet to help build stronger and
bigger nonprofits that can perform and operate professionally,
efficiently, and with greater accountability; TXNP also strives to
facilitate and encourage connections between charitable causes and
potential contributors.
Texas Association of
Nonprofit Organizations - TANO promotes awareness and education
about nonprofit policies and management issues; provides nonprofit insurance
and group purchasing; and on-line information and publications.
Center
for Community-Based & Nonprofit Organizations at Austin Community
College - A community partnership for those engaged in
the nonprofit sector. Services include: learning opportunities; consulting
services; a weekly LISTSERV for over 5,000; online resources; and more.
Greenlights
for Nonprofit Success - Greenlights is a management service
organization dedicated to improving the management effectiveness of
the Central Texas nonprofit sector. Services include customized consulting
and coaching, organization and board advancement, information and referral,
interactive education, and nonprofit convening events.
The
Alliance for Nonprofit Management - Resource for and listing
of management support organizations (MSOs), individual professionals
and a range of national/regional, umbrella, research and academic, publishing
and philanthropic organizations that provide technical assistance (training
and consulting) to nonprofits.
2009 DFW Nonprofit Salary & Benefits Survey -
July 2009. 154 pages, $80 each plus $5/copy postage and
handling OR $8 each for individual positions or benefits section.
Salary data from 131 organizations on 62 positions common in nonprofits
including Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer; part-time hourly
rates; salary data by operating budget size and location in Dallas
County or the Metro Area. Also includes 10 tables on benefit
provisions. Executive Director salaries also analyzed by gender,
